They hold better in bouquets, are more balance in bouquets and they bloom slightly earlier than the late taller types.
Plant mid spring as soon as the ground can be worked. Cool moist fertile well drained soil will give the corms a chance to grow strong roots. Do not plant in dry hot soil or standing water.
Dig the corms in fall, store in a cool, dark and dry area to replant the following spring.
