Chocolate Daisy, Berlandiera, also called Chocolate Drop is a perennial in zone 4. This species has edible flowers that smell like Cocoa that smell the strongest in the morning. The plant looks similar to coreopsis and will flower from spring till fall with heaviest bloom in late June. Keep flowers picked for more blooms.
