This wonderful wild rose grows only 2-3 feet high and has the largest fruit "hips" that we know of and grows in south western Newfoundland in one small area only. Very hardy, productive and disease resistant.
The stems do have spines but the fruit holds itself high on top of the shrub making it extremely easy to pick. Flowers are very fragrant. Well worth the effort. Picked Sept. 2022.
