Crambe-Maritima sea kale

Crambe is normally found growing wild along sandy seashores of Europe.

It is "halophytic", meaning salt tolerant. A great plant for seaside areas or marshes.

The blue leaves and white flowers are edible. The leaves are similar to scotch kale and grows to 30-36" inches.

Must be grown in a sandy loamy soil in a very well-drained site in full sun. Water regularly. Will not tolerate heavy clay soils. Zone 5
