This variety of pumpkin has "hulless" seeds. Great for tasty healthy snack. Raw or slightly roasted and salted. The pumpkin seed oil is a dark green colour.
After we extract the seeds, we feed our chickens and geese with the left over pumpkin flesh. Lovely as an ornamental during Thanksgiving or Halloween.
Matures in approx. 85-95 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
Start seeds in May to transplant out the first week of June in warm fertile soil and after the threat of frost.
