Tomato, Island Gem (organic)

First place winner at the Canadian National Exhibition in 2018.

This tomato has a very high anthocyanin content, hence purple skin. The flesh is red when ripe & tastes like a traditional tomato. It is considered a large cherry type at approx. 70grams, great for the market gardener who doesn't have time to pick small cherry sized tomatoes. Has good viral and blight resistance.

Productive semi-determinate plants. 75 days from transplant.

Tip: Start seeds in early March to transplant out to warm garden soil in late spring after the threat of frost.

12 seeds per pkt. @ $7.95 pkt.
