Fiddle-head ferns ( 3 roots )

We recently received an email request for this item.

Fiddle head ferns  (Ostrich Fern) grows wild through many of our locally wooded areas. We planted 2 roots several years ago which has grown to a vary large patch.  Very hardy, may take zone 3.

Ferns grow in slightly acidic and well-drained moist soils. Ideal places to grow these ferns are on the North facing side of the house, along partly shaded woodlands and ditches. They will not tolerate full hot sun. Ferns are normally an "understory" plant.
