Wild Quinine

 Eastern North America hardy rare plant used as a medicinal herb. The white clusters of flowers can be used in bouquets as well.

The plant contains a chemical called parthenolide which has been researched for anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.  It is a source of quinine to treat malaria. The flowers and the root are medicinal.

Adaptable on light and rich soils. Grows 2-3 feet tall, hardy to zone 4.
