Pea-Yellow Grain Pea (Organic)

Used as a green manure or cover crop for the garden. This is a very versatile dwarf pea which can be used for forage and soil builder late in the fall when nothing else will grow. A perfect way to rest your garden over the winter months.

If sown in spring, this variety can be harvested late summer. ground into a powder and used as a healthy protein source in smoothies or whole in soups.

This variety is robust and disease resistant.

The picture shown here is of a late planting in our fields, end of August. The crop is still green despite -7C temperatures in November.
