This is a jumbo sized onion with improved disease resistance for organic gardens. It is 100 days from seed which is quite early for an onion of this size. This is an "intermediate" type which can be started summer as well as spring.
Tip: Start onions in February in a free draining soil mix and plant out transplants mid May when the garden soil is cool and moist. Mulch with straw to keep the weeds down and the soil cool when the days are dry and hot.
