Most of these varieties/species are edible in some way, shape or form such as leaves, fruit, roots or nuts and may be suitable for permaculture applications. Very hard to source out as some of these species have been extinct in areas where large populations grew many decades ago. All of our tree species and wild perennials have been sustainably sourced.
One note of caution if you are wild crafting your own plants, be sure to identify them correctly and collect them mindfully from large populations so that they can replenish themselves naturally.
