Highly recommended. This kelp variety comes in a powdered form and is harvested off the coast of Nova Scotia. It has growth stimulating properties (a natural growth hormone), frost protection and over 60 trace minerals which helps to intensify flavours (nutrient dense). A little goes a long way!
We use it on all of our crops and drizzle a little into every row. We planted our potatoes late last year and noticed that the plants lasted into early fall, the leaves were able to tolerate close to frost temperatures. The potatoes were as hard as stone.
Using kelp in a compost tea can boost pest resistance in plants.
