Amaranth leaf is a traditional leafy vegetable in  Asian and Caribbean cultures. This variety is green with stripes of pink and red. Splashy in a raw salad! Can be used in smoothies, salads, sprouting or as a wilted green in stir fry. Bonus, it is ornamental too!

This green is very healthy and healing to the body raw because it is full of minerals and vitamins that are readily assimilated by our digestive system.

Very easy to grow. Start seeds in mid spring to transplant out to warm fertile garden soil after danger of frost....in full sun.   You can also, sow directly into the garden, the seedlings catch up fast.
