Sorrel-Red veined

Red veined sorrel, Rumex sanquineus, is also called "Bloody Dock Plant". 

It is a perennial plant hardy to zone 4, and can take some shade.

Functional in permaculture food applications as an edible ornamental salad green with a lemon taste .  It can be used as a substitute for the wild sorrel in the Ojibwe anti-cancer formula now called Essiac®
