Mazzard Cherry -seeds (stones)

Mazzard Cherry, Prunus avium is one of the oldest cherry trees which have been used for rootstock to modern varieties, genetic conservation and breeding programs.

Disease resistant and Hardy to zone 4, it is ornamental, beneficial to wildlife and the fruit is edible.

Seed harvested in summer of 2022 and stored in the fridge. Must be stratified in moist soil for 2-3 months like most stone fruits from seed.
