Winter Squash-Thai (Organic)

A Thai heritage ornamental tasty squash. Vines have good resistance to squash bugs. The orange flesh is sweet flavoured and fine grained. Traditionally used in curries, soups, baking, roasting.

Matures in approx. 110 days to a deep green colour that turns chestnut color in storage. Vines produce 6-8 pound fruits and are very ribbed and warted, great for ornamental displays. Hard to find at supermarkets or farmers markets.

Starts seeds 3-4 weeks early to transplant out to warm garden soil.
