Our peony shades are pink, white and deep pink and they flower to extend the early cut flower season. They are "double" buds which last much longer in a bouquet. In the Ukraine, the peony is called the "May Rose". They are long lived hardy perennials.
Roots will have 3-5 nodes (flowering stem points). Grown organically means they are very resilient to transplant.
The roots must be planted in cold moist soil to take hold. Blooms will start in the 2nd year and be at their best in the 3rd year. Seeds of peonies will not bloom till 7 years therefore roots are the best choice from proven stock.
