This hardy perennial vine can be found naturally growing in northern Korea, Russia and Japan. This variety has been commercially cultivated for fruit and leaf production. Can be used as a famine food. Very hardy down to -40F. The sweet fruits are the size of large grapes.

The fruits are high in vitamin C and minerals. The leaves are edible and in Korea are called Darae-sun and consumed as a Namul vegetable.
