The seeds for this wild plum came from our neighbour's fence row. It has a natural semi-dwarf habit with fruit the size of a cherry. Seems to be disease resistant against most stone fruit diseases. Ripens in late July to a bright red. The taste is tart. Great for making wine. Blooms in late spring, late enough so the blooms do not freeze.
Tip: Must be moist stratified for 3 months
