Northern pecan is not normally grown this far north in Canada due to the fact that they belong in a longer growing zone in the mid-United States to mature the nuts.
Our nuts were collected at latitude 44 in Ontario and produces a nut crop reliably in a good season. Our seed is collected by a qualified and experienced forester. Some skill and experience is needed to germinate this species, our nuts are stratified and germination is very good. Sow immediately or refrigerate. Do not freeze. Very limited quantity,!!!!
